Questions, problems, and ideas all land in the same place. Write to support@heykove.com and you will get a reply within 2 business days.
A note on who you are writing to: kove is made by Leo Athletics LLC, a one-person company. There is no ticket queue and no support department, just the founder, who reads every message. That is why the reply window is measured in days rather than minutes, and why the answer comes from someone who can actually change the product.

Common questions
What is kove?
kove is an iOS app that reads a supplement label or barcode and returns a quality score, graded against published evidence. Point your camera at a bottle and kove tells you what is in it, whether the forms and doses match what the research actually used, and what the label leaves out. It is a quality filter for a crowded aisle.
When can I use it?
kove is pre-launch. A TestFlight beta opens soon, with the App Store release to follow. We would rather ship it right than name a date and miss it. If you want to hear the moment the beta opens, send a note to support@heykove.com with "beta" in the subject line.
How does the score work?
Every product is graded across five weighted categories that add up to 100: dosage adequacy, ingredient quality and bioavailability, safety signals, filler and excipient profile, and third-party certification. The grading is rule-based rather than a black box, so every point can be explained, and two products scored under the same version of the rules are scored the same way. Scores are not frozen: when the rules improve, or when new safety data arrives, a product is graded again and its score can change. Where the research is strong, the score says so. Where it is thin, the score says that too. Honesty about uncertainty is part of the product, not a footnote.
Does kove sell supplements?
No. kove does not sell supplements, does not take money from supplement brands in exchange for ratings or placement, and does not adjust a score for anyone. The score is the product, and it is not for sale.
Is kove medical advice?
No. kove is a general wellness app. It helps you understand the quality of what is on a label, and nothing it says is a diagnosis or a treatment. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. For questions about your health, your medications, or whether a supplement is right for you, talk with your clinician.
What data does kove collect?
The short version: what the app needs to work, and little else. Scans, meaning the label photos and barcodes you capture, are used to score the product and to improve coverage for the next person who scans it. Scanning needs an account, and kove keeps your email, your saved stack, and a record of every scan you run: the product, the score, and when. The scan history you browse in the app is kept in your account, so it comes back after a reinstall or on a new phone. Signing out removes it, along with your profile photo, from the phone you sign out of. kove does not sell your data and does not show ads. The full policy, written to be read, is at /privacy.
How do I delete my data?
When the app launches, open Profile, then Export and Delete. From there you can download a copy of everything kove holds about you, delete it, or both. If you would rather ask a person, email privacy@heykove.com and it will be handled.
What does kove cost, and how do refunds work?
When kove launches, scanning and scoring will be free. kove Premium will be $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year, and will add search without the bottle in hand plus the full stack tools. Billing will run through your Apple account, so you will manage or cancel the subscription in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds will be handled by Apple rather than by kove; you will be able to request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something looks wrong on kove's side, write to support@heykove.com and it will be sorted.
